TILO

TILO brings the counter and the business behind it into one operating environment. Designed around real F&B operations, it combines fast frontline workflows with the controls, visibility and intelligence owners and operators need behind them.

Built to run F&B.

The operating system for modern food & beverage businesses.

Sell · Run · Connect · Know · Understand

Built in operations

Born behind a coffee counter.

TILO began as an operating system built around the requirements of a real coffee business. Counter speed. Staff roles. Shifts. Payments. Memberships. Operational controls. Reporting. Unreliable connectivity.

Working around those requirements transformed an internal POS into something larger. TILO is now being developed as an operating platform for modern food & beverage businesses.

Simple where it should be. Serious where it needs to be.

The person serving a customer should not need to understand enterprise software. The person running the business should not have to sacrifice control or intelligence for simplicity. TILO is being developed around both requirements.

The frontline sees what it needs. The operator sees what matters.

Product pillars

Five layers of the operating system.

01

Memberships, customer identity, loyalty and repeat relationships.

04

Know

Operational reporting and visibility across sales, payments, products, staff and locations.

05

In Development

Understand

The emerging TILO Intelligence layer powered by the ATEM philosophy.

One core. Built around the business.

TILO is intended to support different F&B operating profiles without forcing irrelevant workflows onto every business. Profiles marked as planned or directional are not presented as currently commercially available.

Local / offline operating capability

Synchronization when connectivity returns

The internet can go down. The counter can't.

TILO's foundation is being developed around operating environments where connectivity cannot always be trusted. Core counter operations are designed to continue locally during connectivity interruptions and synchronize safely when the connection returns.

Because “the system is down” is not an operating strategy.

Operations that currently require cloud connectivity — such as certain refunds or voids — are not implied to work offline.

TILO Intelligence / In Development

Ask TILO.

Ask anything about your business. TILO Intelligence is in development — the following is a conceptual illustration of intended capability.

Conceptual owner question

“How are croissants performing this month? We changed the chef recently. Are they selling better or worse than before?”

Conceptual TILO Intelligence response

Croissant sales appear stronger since the chef change.

Average daily unit sales increased compared with the preceding period, with the strongest improvement during morning service.

Wastage has also increased, so higher production may be contributing to part of the change.

The overall signal appears positive, but production efficiency should be monitored.

No report selection. No spreadsheet export. No filters to learn.

Ask the business a business question.

In development

What changed matters.

A transaction can show that croissant sales increased. It cannot automatically know that the bakery chef changed two weeks earlier.

TILO's planned Business Memory layer is intended to preserve meaningful operating context. Combined with operational data, this context can help TILO investigate business questions rather than merely retrieve numbers.

TILO / Customer 001

Coffee Notes

Islamabad, Pakistan

TILO's first customer is also where the product began. Developed around real counter workflows and refined around the requirements of the people operating them, the system grew from an internal requirement into a broader product.

Coffee Notes is TILO Customer 001. The first live operating environment is in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Born in operations. Developed into a product.

Built to learn

Real operations. Better understanding. Better systems.

TILO contributes to PhoneMark.ai's broader research into how intelligent systems can understand real-world business operations. With appropriate permissions and safeguards, patterns across operating environments can contribute to better models, better benchmarks and better product intelligence while maintaining boundaries around individual customer information.

This describes research philosophy only. It does not claim that PhoneMark.ai sells customer data, or that customers automatically waive privacy or confidentiality.
